I am married and a
father to little girl, I live and work in Herzeliya. I was born in
Jerusalem and spent most of my childhood there. I studied and
finished high school at Gymnasia, Jerusalem.
I served three years in the Army. Following that I started my BA in
Behaviour sciences at the college of Management. During this time I
was involved in volunteer work at Samet institute and the Child &
Family team, Jerusalem.
After graduating
with MSc in Counselling Psychology
at City University London, I continued training for a chartership
status with the BPS, which I gained
in April 2004.I
continued to specialise in various fields in adolescence and adult
psychotherapy and then trained in Existential Psychotherapy and
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the UK Council for
Psychotherapy.
Between
2001-2006, I worked in the
psychology community
services at the National Health Services, UK. I worked with various
client groups with a wide range of
psychological problems. I also
taught and supervised in the Masters programme in Psychology and
Psychotherapy at Regent’s College, London.
Additionally, my professional development included specialist
training in trauma, psychosis, eating
disorder, anxiety, substance abuse, hypnosis, Cognitive Behavioural
Therapy and psychological testing,
My latest article about Freud’s Uncanny was published in the Journal
of the Society of Existential Analysis,
and a further two articles that await publishing.
I have wide interest in visual arts, literature and music and I try
to combine them in my therapeutic work where appropriate.
In Israel, I work in various organisations as a therapist,
facilitator and tutor. |
